Ministry of Industry and Commerce had revised Instruction on Certificate of Origin that receive the preferences, No. 2225/MoIC.DIMEX, dated 5^th December 2014 to replace the Instruction No. 2386/MoIC.DIMEX, dated 23^rd December 2013,  in order to extend Part II of the Decree on Origin of goods for Import and Export No. 228/PM, dated 22^nd April 2010, for the effective implementation and to ensure that certification of origin that Lao PDR receive will be implemented throughout the country in accordance with regulations and treaties that Lao PDR participates in. The purpose of revision is to facilitate for businesses, for example, if the import countries that give preferences do not indicate the need of Certificate of Origin, the exporters companies/factories will have no need to request for Certificate of Origin.
