Ministry of Industry and Commerce, on behalf of Task force committee, issued this additional Notification in order to replace Notification No. 1194/MOIC.DIMEX, dated 23 December 2020. Temporary suspension of seafood (fresh, frozen) import from all countries which have the outbreak of Covid-19 by taking the necessary and urgent measure as followed:
1. Suspend import and transit seafood (fresh, frozen) temporarily from all countries which have the outbreak of Covid-19.
2. This measure is a temporary suspension and can be terminated if relevant authorities of Lao PDR and export countries can certify and ensure that seafood (fresh, frozen) are safe and would not have any impacts on consumers.
3. This Notification are effectiveness since the date of signature and replace Notification No. 1194/MOIC.DIMEX, dated 23 December 2020.
