Pursuant to the new order of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce which not allow a new recycling plastic plant to register, no. 0903 / MOIC. DoIH, July 31, 2019.
Enterprises/factories that have received enterprise registration, investment licenses or business licenses but have not yet received a license to build a plant, it is immediately discontinued until a new order or other legislation replaces this order.
The processing plants which have been processed plastic waste are allowed to continue their business. However, the Industry and Commerce of Vientiane and provinces are requested to cooperate with relevant sectors in order to monitor and inspect if there are any factories that fail to comply with the rules and regulations that can terminate their processing and cancel the license.
