According to the Notification on the promulgation of the revised import-export license No. 0472/MoIC.DIMEX, dated 10 March 2016, Department of Import and Export, Ministry of Industry and Commerce issued an Instruction on the Use of the Revised Import and Export License Form No. 1535/DIMEX.IEMD, dated 10 May 2016 to ensure the conformity use of the revised import and export license form nationwide. It aims to simplify, reduce procedure for import-export and apply Electronic License (E-License) system in the near future.
Importers and Exporters can now download the revised Import License Form, Export License Form and instruction to use from the Lao PDR Trade Portal or request for softfile from local import-export authority.
In case importers or exporters are not able to use the new licensing system, they can still use the old licensing system until 30 September 2016. After that, the revised import – export license form shall be applied accordingly.
Department of Import and Export, Ministry of Industry and Commerce hereby inform Vientiane Capital - Provincial Department of Import and Export to disseminate and encourage importers and exporters to use the revised import-export license form which has been apply since 1 April 2016.
